Linstow Art Award jury leader Inga Lāce meets the 2025 laureates at the art studio

The jury leader of the Linstow Art Award, Inga Lāce, who works as a curator at the Almaty Museum of Art in Kazakhstan, visited the Linstow Art Award art studio at Sporta 2 quarter in Riga, Latvia, where she met the 2025 Linstow Art Award laureates – Tīna Alise Drupa, Katrīna Biksone, and Anna Malicka.

During the visit, Inga Lāce became acquainted with the artists’ creative processes, current works, and future plans, which vividly reflect each artist’s individual visual language, thematic focus, and professional development.

Such in-person meetings foster meaningful dialogue between emerging artists and art professionals, contributing to the development, visibility, and sustainability of contemporary art. The artists are currently actively working at the Linstow Art Award art studio, preparing new projects both in Riga and internationally.

The Linstow Art Award is an annual professional art award that provides three emerging artists – graduates of the Latvian Academy of Art’s Master’s programs – with the opportunity to use the Linstow Art Award studio spaces for one year to develop their creative potential and professional practice.
