Linstow Art AwardApplication

Applications Open for the Linstow Art Award!

From April 13 to May 13, graduates of the Master’s programs at the Art Academy of Latvia (LMA) are invited to apply for the Linstow Art Award, a targeted support program designed to provide structured and sustainable assistance to the development of the creative industries. The initiative aims to enhance the competitiveness and visibility of emerging talents in both the Latvian and international cultural arenas.

Eligible applicants for the Linstow Art Award are graduates of the Master’s programs at the Art Academy of Latvia from the Departments of Visual Arts, Visual and Plastic Arts, Audio-visual Media Arts, or Design. Applications are invited from both current students in the process of graduating and expected to obtain their degree in 2026, as well as artists who completed these programs in the past three years (in 2023, 2024, or 2025).

To apply for the Linstow Art Award, applicants must submit one of their own completed artworks, along with its concept description and images. This can be a final study project, diploma work, master’s thesis, or any other previously created work – the key requirement is that the artwork is fully completed at the time of submission.

Application period: April 13 – May 13 until 13:00 PM (Riga time).

If you experience technical issues during the application process, please send the required information and files from the application form via email to info@linstowartaward.lv.
