The Linstow Art Award 2025 laureates recently participated in a mentoring session focused on enhancing their professional skills and strengthening their international competitiveness.
The mentoring session was led by:
-
Inga Lāce – Jury Leader of the Linstow Art Award, Chief Curator at the Almaty Art Museum (Kazakhstan), and C-MAP Central and Eastern Europe Research Associate at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), New York.
-
Joanna Nordin – Linstow Art Award jury member and Artistic Director of Bonniers Konsthall.
During the mentoring sessions, the 2025 laureates had the opportunity to deepen their understanding of the contemporary art professional environment, with a particular focus on key aspects of professional practice, including the development of artistic research, collaboration models with galleries, establishing institutional partnerships with museums, and participation in international exhibitions and biennials.
The goal of the mentoring sessions was to foster a structured understanding of professional career development, strengthening the artists’ ability to strategically plan their creative practice and position themselves within the international professional art field.
The mentoring program is a core part of the Linstow Art Award initiative, providing emerging artists with long-term support to promote their professional growth and international visibility.
